Happy Monday! Last week, after I came back from the Maldives, I immediately had to pack my bags for another cool trip, this time to Istanbul. I was very excited, because the only time I had visited this beautiful city was years ago.
Istanbul was decorated with lots of lights, which gave me a holiday feeling. There were so many great pieces in stores for the holiday season. Every year I easily get caught up in a new glittery dress, resulting in a whole rack of pieces that I only wear once, or at most, twice. It made me think about a new metric: cost per wear. Ouch!
Don’t get me wrong… there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself to special-occasion pieces, but I have now decided to avoid buying items for special occasions when I already know I won’t be wearing them often afterwards.
Together with one of my favorite fashion brands, Reiss, I created this Christmas story in Istanbul and I think it is save to say that the pieces I’ve picked out are justified to splurge your hard-earned cash on.
The black jumpsuit is timeless and very wearable during the year, because you can easily dress it up or down. Still, it definitely is a showstopper that is just perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
I paired the jumpsuit with a pair of black suede heels. I love the golden details on the heel and most importantly, they are super comfortable to wear.
To complete the outfit I combined it with this soft pink faux fur coat. The coat keeps you warm in Winter, but due to the color it is also very wearable in Fall and Spring.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your Holiday outfit. Can’t wait to hear what you are wearing this holiday season!
