I love getting dressed for bed. I know that I’ll probably never go to dinner or parties in my pj’s, but for me wearing a nice and comfortable pyjama feels like adding a little luxury to everyday life. So I was more than thrilled to discover the beautiful collection of London based designer Olivia von Halle.

She is inspired by the ‘lounging pyjamas’ of glamorous days gone by, the era of epic movie stars like Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor and Rita Hayworth.

I fell madly in love with the 100% silk designs. They come in a range of different colors and chic all over prints. And what I love most is that everything is impeccably tailored with careful attention to details: delightfully soft silk, logo engraved mother of pearl buttons and refined finishing of the pockets. Extremely comfortable, yet deeply stylish at the same time.

So I may not wear Oliva von Halle’s lounging pyjamas to dinners or parties, but they do inspire me to throw a huge slumberparty with my girlfriends.
