I have some amazing news for all of my Amsterdam-area readers!! A new cool brand store called Rabeanco just opened up. This premium Hong Kong label, with a gorgeous collection of affordable handbags, was founded in 2002 and is rapidly expanding worldwide with stores from Shanghai and London, to Los Angeles and Antwerp. And I couldn’t be more excited that their brand now also has landed in the Netherlands, with a first Dutch brand boutique right in the heart of Amsterdam, in the Hartenstraat.
Last week I dropped by their store to enjoy – okay, okay… and indulge in – their lust-worthy designs. It looks like a petite store from the outside, but once you venture deeper into the store you find there’s an annex in the back full of beautiful bags.
The current Rabeanco spring/summer collection is on the shelves and as a huge leather lover I felt like a little kid in a candy store! Imagine a store full of eye catching designs, in a wide range of vibrant colors and styles that cover every mood and occasion. I found myself liking almost everything in sight, from totes to cross bodies and clutches to satches. I really respect how Rabeanco has managed to stay true to its Asian heritage, with a signature trait that originates in the use of origami techniques. Each bag is handcrafted with some of the most buttery-soft European leathers. Rabeanco bags retail from around €149 to €299.
I could keep gushing about Rabeanco but I don’t want to fill up the interwebs, so I will end this post with a photo selection that says it all!
Enjoy! x
