Miami beach vibes at Nobu Eden Roc Hotel

It was wonderful to be back in Miami after two years, this time for a spectacular 4 night Memorial Day weekend getaway. This is a very busy time in Miami so the hotel was quite full, but it never felt overcrowded or hectic. The property consists of two towers: the Nobu Hotel and the Eden Roc, that share the lobby, spa and restaurant. I have such fond memories of dinner at Nobu in New York that I was thrilled to learn that Nobu is now opening a small number of hotels in exclusive locations like Ibiza, London, Malibu and Miami.

I love Miami Beach and enjoyed the location at Mid Beach, which is a little quieter than South Beach, yet only a 10 minute taxi ride away from Lincoln Road, with its numerous stores and restaurants.

We stayed in a beautiful corner suite overlooking the beach, with a large living room, a super comfy bed, large bathroom with separate rain shower, tub and an amazing balcony to catch the lovely breeze. The floor to ceiling windows offered a spectacular view over Miami Beach. Opening the curtains every day to see the sun rise over the ocean was simply incredible!

The boyfriend postponed ‘project summer body’ for a few days, just because of the sumptuous breakfast at Nobu restaurant… although we were able to balance things out with healthy choices from Malibu Farm during lunch at Splash restaurant. Malibu Farm restaurant itself is opening any day now, which will be the first restaurant in Miami Beach right on the famous beach. I have been a huge fan of the cauliflower pizza since I tried it at the Malibu Farm location in Malibu last year, be sure to try it out!

I love kids, but I must say it’s a very nice touch that the hotel is adding an adult only swimming pool on top of the Malibu Farm restaurant. It will be so cool to hang in that pool, sip a fresh coconut and look out across the beach and the ocean! Hotel guests can also use the lounge chairs (with soft mattress feel!) on the beach for free and the crew always makes sure to put two large soft towels on it for you.

It will not come as a surprise to you that the spa at Eden Roc Nobu Hotel really puts the icing on the cake. I enjoyed a wonderful massage by the lovely Eliana, such a warm and kind person and an absolute massage expert! The relax room was a treat in itself, with soft music, a wonderful view and all kinds of original fruits and snacks like yummy covered pretzels.

Also, at the property of the hotel you can find a beautifully decorated shop, called Boho Hunter, with a broad collection of bags, jewelry, resort wear and shoes. Looking through the pictures, I regret not having bought one of the cute beach bags!

All in all, if you are looking for a luxurious experience on Miami Beach, with incredible food, you can not overlook the Nobu Eden Roc.

  1. I’ve never cared too much about Miami (or anywhere other than NYC in the States, haha), but you’ve just put it on my list.

Also can I say, I LOVE your website layout? Soo much – you’re photography is incredible also and I couldn’t follow your Insta fast enough. Can’t wait to keep up with your posts! 🤗
